Ubercart

Ubercart Mailchimp Subscribe is a module which adds a newsletter subscription pane to Ubercart.

This is very similar to the uc_mailchimp module, but includes much newer code and removes a problem I've had with that module.

The problem with uc_mailchimp is that it does many remote calls to Mailchimp, which can cause your checkout page to not load of Mailchimp is down, or the connection is slow.

I was approached by a client to extend certain functionality in the uc_profile module.

The Clients

SuitsAndThais.com sells custom made tailored suits. They require their readers to be able to input their measurements along with their order. They were using Drupal Profile module to allow for this information to be inputted upon registration and UC Profile module to inject this information into the Ubercart Checkout.
